WordPress
Install the xSeek AEO WordPress plugin to track AI bot visits server-side and improve AI visibility (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Grok) with no code changes.
Overview
If your site runs on WordPress, the easiest way to start tracking AI bot traffic is our WordPress plugin. AI bots typically fetch HTML but don’t execute JavaScript, so client-side tracking misses most visits. The plugin detects AI bots server-side (via User-Agent) and sends events to xSeek over HTTPS.
Features
- No-code setup: install a plugin and paste credentials
- Server-side bot detection (works even when bots don’t run JavaScript)
- Tracks major AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Gemini, etc.)
- Optional IP + referer capture
- Test event button to verify configuration
- Works with most WordPress hosting setups
