Akamai.
Implement AI bot tracking using Akamai EdgeWorkers. Enterprise-grade edge computing with global scale and reliability.
There is no ready-made Akamai snippet yet, so this page does not give you working tracking code. To track AI crawlers today, use Cloudflare or Amazon CloudFront, or call the xSeek API from your server.
Overview (planned)
Akamai EdgeWorkers allows you to run JavaScript at the edge across Akamai's massive global network. Deploy AI bot detection close to your users with minimal latency. This integration leverages Akamai's EdgeWorkers to identify AI bots before they reach your origin, providing comprehensive tracking while maintaining the performance and security benefits of Akamai's CDN.

No Akamai EdgeWorker yet: track at your origin
There is no EdgeWorker code to copy. Akamai sits in front of your server, so the way to track AI crawlers today is on the server itself, with the API.
What that takes:
- Make sure Akamai's security and bot management let AI crawlers through
- Add the server-side detection code from the API guide to your origin
- Know the limit: pages Akamai serves from its cache never reach your server, so those visits are not counted
The API Integration page documents the tracking endpoint, the request format and the responses.
